1998-2020 Palomino Mare

The most productive mare ever raised at Thunderbird and the heart of our breeding program. This mare has never disappointed. We have owned as many as 12 of her foals at one time. Every foal by several different stallions has been superior in athleticism, conformation and cow. We have 5 of her daughters in our brood mare pen, High Hickory Hocks, Hick Hock, Lady Alabama Hickory, Alabama Bombshell and Alabama Sparkles, along with two granddaughters, Alabama Diva and Alabama Ali. Alabama Bullet, Alabama Rocket and Alabama Amigo are her sons and standing at stud.
“Dots” will live out the rest of her days at Thunderbird.

Penny produced her first foal in 2018. She was ridden until she became a brood mare.

2006 AQHA Red Dun

Full sister to Wiki, Gunner, Bullet, and Amigo. This mare is showing to be a great producer her first colt was run in 2018. Her second colt is “Crime of Alabama” check him out on our 'For Sale" page. All of her colts are quick and extremely athletic.

Here is another one of our youing mares we have been riding. She is quick, agile and gorgeous. Cowhorse, roping, reining, sorting, this filly could go any direction.
